Unfortunately, the school in its current form can not continue to exist. Parents who sent their children to this school are convicted for not complying with the compulsory education law. At this time, we are looking at options on how to set up a new school, based on adjustments to the concept. Thus, the open days and registrations stopped. The school operated like the Sudbury Valley School in America, who has over 40 years of experience. There are now over 30 of these schools in the world. The Sudbury model works on basis of personal responsibility, self motivation and self-reliance. In the Netherlands, two other Sudbury schools are De Koers located in Beverwijk.
